Rosemary Shaw teaches web design/computer technology at Millennium Middle School, a fine arts magnet school in Orlando, Fl. She won a Disney Teacherrific award for her "Backstage at Millennium", a web site that links elementary students to students in the middle grades at Millennium.

Mrs. Shaw also garnered a commendation from Secretary of Education, Richard Riley for completion of the Mars Millennium project, an official White House Millennium Council Youth Initiative, which challenged students across the nation to design a community for the planet Mars.

Mrs. Shaw's students placed in the top 7 while competing against 20 other countries in the Environmental Awareness category of the Global Cyberfair, with the creation of the S.O.C.K.S. project (Student Oriented Conservation project for K-12 Students). Operation SOCKS is a student designed project to promote education about water conservation, water management, and water quality control on the St. Johns River and local lakes in Seminole County, Florida, by use of web pages, flyers and student created videos.
