Directions:        Below is a recipe for 3 dozen cookies.  You are making 6 dozen cookies.  Look at the ingredient list carefully.  How much of each ingredient will you need?  On the right side of the paper, list the ingredient and the amount you need now.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.  Grease the cookie sheets.

Ingredients List:

1 cup and 2 Tbs. of flour                             ___________________

½ tsp. of baking soda                                   ___________________

8 Tbs. of unsalted butter, softened                ___________________

½ cup of sugar                                             ___________________

½ cup of packed brown sugar                      ___________________

1 large egg                                                   ___________________

¼ tsp. salt                                                    ___________________

1 ½ tsp. vanilla                                             ___________________

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips                  ___________________

Combine ingredients in order.  Drop the dough by heaping teaspoonfuls onto the sheets.  Bake for 8-10 minutes.
