Linda Steinmann

Dr. Steinmann has been teaching high school social studies for 10 years at Forest Hills High School. She was awarded IMPACT II disseminator grants in 1994 and 1998, participated in the New York City Teacher Policy Institute in 1995, contributed to the Teachers Guide to Cyberspace, and served as a web advisor to TeachNet.org. She received an IMPACT II School and Community Grant for a project in which her students tutored recent immigrants for their citizenship tests, and the John Bunzel Award for Excellence in Social Studies Teaching from the Association of Teachers of Social Studies (UFT).
