Where did we go from here?  Once mankind stopped his nomadic way of life in exchange for settling in one area, how did our development progress?

In our next unit of study you will be learning about just that.  Why did man settle where he did?  How did we become "civilized"?  What kind of governments did we establish?  When did these advancements and many others take place?   Who were some of the great leaders and innovators of the early civilizations?
